Is the property on a Beach?
No, the property is on the harbor, with a park right in front of the hotel where you can swim and surf. The closest sandy beach is a two block walk to the end of the harbor.

How far is the hotel from the airport?
We are 23 miles from the Kahului airport (OGG) and 9 miles from the Kapalua (West Maui) airport. There are two commercial shuttles available. One is Airport Shuttle (808) 661-6667 and the other Speedi Shuttle (808) 875-8070. Taxis are also available at both airports.

What time is check-in?
Check-in is 3:00 pm. We will accommodate early check-in based on availability. Check-out is 12:00 noon.

Is parking available?
Because we are in a historical district, parking is offsite; just across the street. We do have a loading zone in front of the hotel, where you can park for short periods of time. Parking is complimentary with room rental.

Where can I book snorkeling, SCUBA, sunset-cruises, submarine rides, parasailing and whale-watching?
Just a few steps from our front door, you can book all of these from commercial vendors at the harbor. We will be happy to make recommendations.

What is there to do in town?
There are art galleries, museums, a variety of restaurants, a magic show, Ulalena, a musical production about the birth of Lahaina and two luaus all within eight blocks of the hotel. Directly across the street there is a movie theater.

What is the weather like?
Temperatures do not vary much, ranging from 65F-85F year round and Lahaina experiences about 340 days of sunshine per year.

When are the whales in season?
Whale season starts in late December and runs through April.
